When Debbie Jarve shared these photos, she commented, “Winter Wonderland, I wonder when it will stop...”. My comment back was, “That’s why it’s called, Winter WONDERland”. It leaves us all wondering this time of year, if last week’s blizzard is going to be the last big dump of snow on us or not. It’s been known to kick up a good storm or two in March and April, sometimes even May. But I’m hoping the beautiful blue skies in Debbie’s photos will be the norm from here on out and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
Today’s video short from Visit Keweenaw, features Amanda with a look at our March 5th blizzard last week. She took advantage of a lull in the storm to get out there and show us all what it was looking like.

Sweet pix and now I’ve got those wonderful UP Blue Sky blues again And Amanda does a pretty good job of promoting winter activities in the UP. Every time I hear the word Amanda, I’m reminded of the song by Boston of the same name…”Amanda”..

I'm with Alex. These are beautiful blue skies. They put us in a good mood and keep us going for another week or two until we see them again. You never know what you're going to get up here. We just roll with the flow.

BTW…5 years ago today the first case of coronavirus was reported in Michigan which eventually made its way into the UP. How it changed the worldwide landscape.

Don't forget the St. Paddy's Day storm! That's typically slapping us upside the head....
