906 Images played the hero recently, while taking photos at Black Rocks in Marquette. He noticed a possible jumper on the edge of the rocks and went to stop him from making a big mistake in the cold winter temperatures. Someone commented that not all heroes wear capes, some of them wear cameras around their neck. What fun photos to lighten UP the chilly weather, but again, note the sunshine in these shots. We don’t often get sunshine in January, so it’s something to behold for sure. That last photo from the air is a beauty...with the sun making the snow on the rocks look whiter than ever. Beautiful!

Today’s video, also from 906 Images gives us a look at calm waters in the Black Rocks cove. Here’s what he had to say about it: “After all the sub zero temps in the UP....it made for some nice ice all around the shores of Lake Superior.”

The little snowman is adorable...no doubt. And cool
video. Literally.

Hi
When I lived in Ann Arbor, there were a number of
parks with bridges over the Huron River. I would
sometimes make a snowball and drop it in, to see if
it (or its fragments) would float. I wonder if the
little snowman would survive a jump--probably not.

The video was relaxing.
