Happy Monday morning! These photos were taken from the treadmill in the apartment complex where Donna MacIntosh lives. What a great view she has when getting some exercise, too. Donna commented that she loves that gun-metal gray sky with just a bit of sun to hit the Quincy Mine Shaft, makes for a gorgeous scene. I agree wholeheartedly, there is something about the gray skies that draw you in and then, BAM...you see the sunshine peeking out and highlighting houses and buildings on the Hill. Makes that ominous looking sky a prettier sight to behold.

In The Keweenaw takes us inside the snow globe over Hancock and Houghton, with a brief drone flight around the towns along the Houghton Canal. We sure have been getting the snow this December.

Leally rice pics, Donna…I leally rike your view
when you go in for a wok.
Hit that treadmill and…you go Girl.
And a cold video with cool music.
Short and sweet…I like it!

And is that the same drone that has
our top-notch government in a frenzy?

Nice view there, Donna! And nice
pictures. I think I'd spend my
time in that room, lol. I forgot
to tell you that I ran into your
ride the other day. I didn't
recognize her, but she recognized
me. Haven't seen her since she was
a young girl. But, HI LOU! Was
great seeing you!

And I don't know what snowglobe
they're using, but my snowglobe
shook a lot more snow than that
since Thanksgiving. Thankfully,
we've been given a break from it
the last few days.

Hi
Here in the land of the trolls we have rain. It does
not look a lot like Christmas.

Donna, kudos to you exercising on a treadmill. I
would have a hard time making myself exercise that
way. I need to do my walking outside, usually in
parks with at least some scenery. That's my bribe to
myself to keep up with my 30 minutes of moderate
exercise a day, 5 days a week.

By Donna (Donna) on Monday, December 16, 2024 - 10:59 am:

Howdy all...yes, it's on the treadmill...I have a
wheely walker that is not winter worthy, plus it's
so hilly here and all around the building is not
shoveled/plowed, so inside I stay, and I gotta
walk, or soon I won't be.

Deb...so cool you saw Lou! I love her...she's my
rock. The exercise room is on the front of the
building and there is a view. I live on the back
side and look at Tech rentals. ugh. Then, there's
the courthouse behind them. Woo. But the folks
that do live on that side all complain about the
loud bands at Bonfire.....although, in the summer,
I'm above the a/c....so I get lots of noise too!

In the Keweenaw does cool vids.

I LOVE that gun metal sky when the sun sneaks
out...that's just beautiful.

On another note, does anyone watch Yellowstone?
Grand Finale last night...lots of kleenex got
used. It was just a wonderful show!~

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Monday, December 16, 2024 - 03:37 pm:

We watch Yellowstone, Donna. I've
so loved it. I will really miss
it. I'm so anxious for season 2 of
1923.

By Donna (Donna) on Monday, December 16, 2024 - 04:58 pm:

I lost a lot of kleenex last night. sniff. They did
such a great job on that finale.
