We’re already at the end of August, which also means we’re at the end of summer and heading into fall. With time slipping by so quickly, it is all the more important that we take this day to pause and remember those who have gone on before us.

Jane Berryman
David Richard Buckmaster
Dr. Peter E. Carmody
Theresa Haralson
Tammy Hopf
Raymond “Ray” Kalcich
Michele Christi Mili
Lawrence “Larry” Poissant
William “Bill” Seppala
Innocent victims of war in the current conflict,
Servicemen & women and
Frontline workers who have given their all

All of us here at Pasty Central extend our deepest sympathy to those who have lost someone near and dear to them. Two names above need special mention today...David Richard Buckmaster is regular visitor “Jbuck’s” husband and Lawrence “Larry” Poissant is Laurie Bashaw’s Dad. Laurie has been one of our regular visitors and also a photo/video contributor. May David, Larry and all who have left us too soon, Rest in Peace. Please feel free to post the names of those you’d like to remember.

Special thanks to Sally Beaudette for the beautiful Bootjack Sunset to reflect upon here today.

“Grief never ends … But it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It is the price of love.” - Author Unknown

Thank you, Mary for the tribute, and Sally for the beautiful sunset. I always remember Buck's favorite verse when he was so sick and heading to his eternal Home:

2 Timothy 4:7-8

7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

Remembering, and unable to ever forget, my Dad Ralph
Sandretto who passed April 28th of this year. He had
a remarkable zest for life, rarely a dull moment and
is missed by many. Love you, Dad.

Beautiful tribute. Jbuck,I know
I've already sent you my
sympathies, but want to extend
them again. My heart breaks for
you. And Laurie, I know I saw you
at his funeral, but want you to
know that you're in my thoughts
and prayers.
Condolences to all who have lost
loved ones. May they all rest in
peace.
Beautiful picture, Sally.

JBuck...huge Blessings to you...And to you too,
Laurie....Death is so final, yet even that can be a
Blessing.

Michele and Tammy...fly really, really high...Both
so young and gone way too soon....

And thank you Sally....always the best sunsets. You
never strayed far from Bootjack...smart lady!

And Dr. Carmody....a lot of folks know him...he
was one of the "Old Fashioned" Docs...who made
housecalls, delivered MANY babies..in both Baraga
and Houghton Counties...They don't do that in
Baraga anymore...you go to Portage or to Ishpeming
to have a baby now.

His sons are all doctors, some physical, one
dental, his daughter is a NeoNatal ER nurse, his
wife was a parent aide with Baraga DHS...(she's
passed on too)...just some of the most outstanding
folks on the planet.....we were blessed to have
them.

Thank you, Mary, for remembering my dad, Larry Poissant. He is

missed, but enjoying his eternal peace with our Lord and his

family. What a reunion that must have been. He, and mom, will

forever be in our hearts.

Thank you, friends, for the kind wishes. After being paralyzed for 12 years, Buck is now whole and surrounded by Love. As Laurie said, what a reunion he had with his family and friends! But i will always miss him with all my heart.
