We are past the half way mark for 2024, as we come to the end of the month once again. We honor our long time tradition of pausing to remember those that have gone on before us.

Judy Du Long
Steven Kappler
Suzanne “Suzie” Pomroy
Faith Carol Spiroff
Daniel Verbanic
Innocent victims of war in the current conflict,
Servicemen & women and
Frontline workers who have given their all

We extend our sincere condolences to all who have lost someone near and dear to them. You are invited to list the names of those you would like to remember here on this page. I have to highlight two names above. If you’ve been a Pasty Cam visitor for a while, you may remember Michael Du Long (Mikie)...he recently lost is wife of 57 years, Judy. The second one, is Suzie Pomroy who was part of our Pasty Central family. She was the Kitchen Manager in charge of making the Pasty Central Pasties. May they all Rest In Peace.

Special thanks to Joy Ziemnick for the stunning Lake Superior sunset to reflect upon here today.

The picture is gorgeous...

Stevie Kappler...May you be pain free...and flying
high.

Dan Verbanic, I didn't know personally, but when I
worked at the Baraga DHS...he was a medical ride
provider, and he made sure SO many people made it
to their appts....he's an angel that will be missed
by many.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you
to know ...that there is a family reunion awaiting
you, and you will be more overjoyed than
you can
now begin to imagine. On the day you leave your
body -- what I like to call your Continuation Day
-- you will be greeted by everyone you have ever
loved in any way for any reason...and, standing in
front of the group, every person who has been so
very dear to you. It will be a grand and glorious
reunion, with joy and laughter and pure wonderment
filling every heart and soul!

This has also been experienced by everyone who has
ever left here -- all those who have gone before
you -- of course.

So do not grieve for them. They are so very happy!

From an email from Neale Donald Walsh.

Remembering my mom who was called
home July, 2019.
And I remember Mikie Du Long and miss his
conversations. My sympathies Mikie, it
would be nice to hear from you again.
Condolences to all.

Deepest condolences to everybody,
but especially the DuLong family
as I got to know Mikie personally.
Also remembering Laurel Zechlinski
from our pasty family. She was
llamamama, and she passed away in
June of 2009 from an aneurism. A
lot of emails were exchanged with
her and she was quite humorous. We
still exchange Christmas cards
with her husband, Ron. I've made
many good friends on this site.
It's very hard to lose any of
them.

Beautiful picture.
