We haven’t had much snow here in the Keweenaw, but last week one morning, Nancy Haun was out snapping pictures and recording videos of the Canadian National on the L’Anse Hill in the snow! Yes, I said in the snow... the flakes were falling as she was busy with her camera capturing shots for all the rail fans to enjoy. Comments from some of her fans were excitement that it was snowing finally and Nancy remarked that it wasn’t enough snow to amount to anything that day, but it was a start, for sure.

Nancy’s video has plenty of train sounds, especially the whistle you hear when they’re coming up to and crossing a road. This one is on the L’Anse Hill in Bovine at the Fiber Yard. Turn up your volume to get the full effect!

As always, love Nancy's train
pictures. It's amazing how little
snow is on the ground. Keep
snapping, Nancy.

I really appreciate Nancy's passion for trains. I have a bit of the bug not not nearly to her level. It's great we all get to live vicariously through her efforts.

We've had a pretty good ice storm here followed by almost a foot of snow. A lot for us. I lost more branches in my Hawthorne tree. Looks like it has finally met its demise.

But the 2 Robins I mentioned yesterday must have "phoned home" because right now there are at least a DOZEN Robins munching down on all the ripe berries.
