Taana Blom was up early to capture this amazing sunrise from her Chassell Entry home. She had to step carefully on the dock to capture it, because it was completely covered in thick frost, looking at first like a layer of snow. The sky was colored so vividly and then reflecting just as beautifully in the window of the building next to the dock. It looked like a framed photo on the wall! Taana captured a shot of the frost on the top of one of the dock posts, too, showing just how thick and intricate that frost was. I know when I looked outside that morning, my vehicle was covered in white and I wasn’t sure if it had snowed or not, because the frost was covering the grass in white, too.
Jamie Scott shares a time-lapse film called Winter. The photography and the music are absolutely beautiful. Jamie has this to say about his film: Winter is my third seasonal time-lapse film and the second collaboration with composer Jim Perkins. It is the culmination of 5 years of shooting. It is by far the hardest piece I have ever produced. At times I was shooting with up to 6 cameras and 4 sliders. I also lost 2 drones in the process. Sit back and enjoy!

And what art gallery are these gems hanging in? Excellent work, Taana! And I have to agree with Pat & Glenda; Amazing video! A job well done and a labor of love, Jamie. I will be giving it a second look. You’ve outdone yourself today, Mary!

Watching this in Cornwall, shows what we miss here in the winter. The photography, sound track and the effort that has gone into the video is absolutely stunning. Many, many thanks to all those who helped in its production. Truly amazing.

Spectacular post! As much as i like "Morning", "Window Reflection" is my favorite. "Frosted Dock" brings back a lot of memories of sliding on those frosted docks!
The vid is outstanding - 5 years of work indeed! Time lapse is always interesting but this kicks it up about 10 notches!
Thanks Taana and Jamie!

Hey UC, you probably saw this but they found Cathy's car. It was in Lisle, Illinois. Oh, oh, my cousins used to live in Lisle, Illinois!
