We get to enjoy the Christmas lights from Hancock to L’Anse today, courtesy of Debbie Jarve and Diane Richard. Starting with Debbie Jarve we get a look at Hancock’s huge Christmas tree, located just across the street from the City Hall/Police Station. It’s definitely a beauty! Then Debbie shares her view at work with the Houghton Waterfront all lit UP, the Christmas lights glowing and the Portage Lake Lift Bridge adding to the illumination, too. A scene I never tire of.

Next we head south to L’Anse, where Diane Richard joins us at the L’Anse Waterfront Park. Their Christmas tree is UP and lighting the park, with the Nautical Flag Pole behind it. The way Diane snapped this photo, it almost looks like the Stars and Stripes are decorating the tree top...absolutely beautiful! Last, but not least is a tree that folks in the L’Anse area wait to see lit UP each year, as it’s a favorite of many. Check out the moon getting in the Christmas spirit there, too, brightening the night sky above the scene.

To wrap up today’s light theme, we head to Lake Antoine Park in the Iron Mountain area for their annual Lights at the Lake event. The Lights at the Lake Christmas event is open through New Year’s Eve and features 48 booths of light this year! Video courtesy of Upper Limits Media.

Hi
Normally I don't like music with the videos, but the
song with this video was lovely. It was in the
Christmas spirit.

These are all soooooooooo beautiful!! Our little
towns do it up right.

The video is beyond beautiful, and the music is
unreal. Brings me to tears!

Gorgeous displays and I wonder
how much time it took to put up
all those lights in the video.
A lot of work, but a labor of love.

Beautiful Light displays this year.

Beautiful displays. We were just in Iron Mountain
today but didn't know about this. Probably
wouldn't have stuck around anyway cuz we didn't
wanna drive home when it was too dark. Just
beautiful!

Really appreciate the beauty and hard work that goes into these displays. The vid was amazing - have never heard that beautiful song before.
