When Chad Johnson shares photos of his adventures, he doesn’t fool around. I had the hardest time narrowing down the almost thirty photos from his October kayak paddle on the Traprock River. I’d look at one and think, spectacular and then move on to the next and think, just stunning. So I hope I’ve done justice to the beauty he captured. I can only imagine how beautiful it must have been to be right there on the water with it all surrounding them.

Then there’s Chad’s bottom photo. He snapped this on a recent morning on his way to work and titled it, “Good Morning from the Copper Country”. I copied his title, because it really was a “good” morning, as so many in the past week or so have been dark with clouds and gloom. This one stood out and he captured it perfectly!

I mentioned only imagining the beauty Chad was enjoying, but hold on... he recorded a short video to help us all feel like we were right there on the Traprock River, too. Make sure your sound is turned up for the full effect.

have said it better. Omgosh, just
spectacular! I don't envy Mary her job. How
difficult must that be? But, she nailed it!

Yes, Mary, you certainly did do it justice! And Chad picked the perfect day to capture the changing trees and reflections. "Floating Fallen" catches my eye but they are all stunning!
