The Dreamland Restaurant & Bar held their annual Ice Golf event under sunshiny skies and beautiful temperatures (for March!). It looks like all the participants were enjoying themselves and what a great day to get outdoors and play. Cabin fever starts to set in around now here in the Keweenaw, so events like this are fun to get folks out in the fresh air again...the sunshine was a huge bonus! The bottom picture is the 2023 winning golf team of Rachel, Lucas, Ben and Rachel. Congratulations guys and gals!

There was a different outdoor event in Sault Ste. Marie about a month ago and we join MI Playground there for the Soo I-500 Snowmobile Race. The lead-in to their video says: “The closest race in Soo I 500 history! We had the opportunity to document the 2023 race, a 500 mile race on a 1-mile ice oval held annually in Sault Ste. Marie. The dedicated drivers and teams work to keep their snowmobiles on the track to finish this grueling race and this year there was an amazing finish with lots of fun from the start!”

What a fun way to spend the day.
