Deb and Ron Simons got off the highway and onto the four wheel/snowmobile trails for a ride in their side by side to Copper City. My hubby and I joined them for a beautiful color tour and good company. Deb snapped so many beautiful photos it was hard to choose just a few, but I narrowed it down to eight. It was a perfect fall day, with the sun shining and not too much of a chill in the air, plus the trail was bursting with vibrant colors the entire way. Deb’s fourth photo was snapped from the railroad trestle over M-26 on the Calumet/Lake Linden Hill. The view of the valley below from up there is pretty spectacular.

We head to Paradise, MI with Frances Czapski for a peaceful fall look at a tiny side waterfall at the Lower Tahquamenon Falls. For more of Frances’ photography, click here: Photography by Frances

If that ain't peak color, I don't know what is. Great shots Deb and Mr Deb, thanks!

I can't get over the color this year. I just
kept snapping and snapping. I had about 75
pictures that I had to sort through. It was
the same when we went to the covered road,
and down the Houghton side of the canal to
Stanton Twp Park. I think I came home with
168 photos that day. Even though a lot of
the reds from the maples were gone, there
was still plenty of awesome color left.
We're going today so I hope we can still
find some. Thanks for sharing these, Mary.
And thanks for riding along with us. What a
fun afternoon/evening.
Loved the video too.

Great pics & video, just beautiful!! Deb... if
you're snapping pics, is Ron driving and holding his
beverage and yours!!?? He's to be recognized here
for work behind the scenes.. I figure !! :=))
Seriously... great pics!!

Wait just a minute... a side by side and Ron and Jim
both along for the ride with Mary... Were the ladies
in the front and the guys in the back?? The reason
I ask is.. that sure looks like a jug of moonshine
within reach in the back!! lol and just kidding,
looks like you all had a great time, I'm jealous!!
