Folks had been worried about the Swedetown Swan Family, as they hadn’t been seen in the ponds there for a a while, maybe as long as a month. But this past week, Judy Byykkonen spotted them and started snapping away. The fluffy little babies are looking more like swans now, so they did a lot of growing while they were gone. It’s unclear if they were just hiding out in the ponds somewhere, maybe to keep them safe from predators. But everyone is glad to see them back and doing well. It looks like the parents are still as protective as ever, which is a good thing for sure.

Judy also captured a fun video of one of the cygnets foraging in the pond, just like his folks taught him to do. Nature at its best with these beautiful creatures.
