Judy Byykkonen and the WIND (Women in New Directions} ladies recently took to the Swedetown trails for a walk in the woods. The ladies bright jackets sure adding some zing to the leaf covered trails and I can imagine the sound of the leaves crunching and shuffling under their feet. And the smell...I bet the smell of Autumn was in the air. These same trails will soon take on a different look when they’re snowcovered.

The bottom photo is an interesting one. I’m not sure what the story is behind this beautiful wood carving of an owl. Maybe it’s there to just adorn the trails or maybe it has a meaning to its existence. Inquiring minds want to know. Fill us in if you know anything about Mr. Owl.

From a different walk in the woods, Judy also shares the short clip of her three “girls” on a leaf covered trail. If you turn your volume way UP, you can just hear the rustle of the leaves under their paws.
