Nancy Haun is taking us along on a quick color tour with scenes from Quincy Hill, the Peshekee River near Champion, MI, Pelkie and the Nestoria Herman Road. Amazing color in all four shots, but I think my favorite is number three in Pelkie. Just WOW...such a beautiful expanse of oranges, reds, some yellow and a sprinkling of green. So much color, so little time. Wouldn’t it be great if fall lasted for months, instead of weeks?

From the I Love Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan Facebook page, we get some tips on the best places for Fall Color in the Soo. I like the references to the colors being like a box of Fruity Pebbles, a pile of Starburst, a bowl of Skittles and a pack of Crayons. Pretty accurate descriptions, I’d say!

Mary's "WOW" description was right on. Omgosh
the color is simply amazing. Thanks for
sharing these with us.

View of Quincy Hill is still pretty good.
Further away from The Lake is already past peak.
Closer to Wisconsin boarder the leaves have dropped
in many areas.

Great D.A.!! Hope everything is working well in
the RV, enjoy your time U.P. there!! Be safe!!

It doesn't look like we'll make it back up this
year.
I have my routine follow ups at U of M coming up
the rest of this month and I'm facing another foot
surgery for a pesky foot ulcer that just won't go
away. Plus my better half is probably going to
need knee surgery for a torn Meniscus. Like my
uncle Carl always said.... " Gettin old ain't for
Sissy's". We'll see how everything plays out. If
things aren't that bad or changes occur, Marty and
I might blast up in November if it works out.

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Sunday, October 10, 2021 - 01:49 pm:

Best wishes, UC...hoping everything turns out well
for you and the Queen! And I will your second Uncle
Carl; "Gettin old ain't for Sissy's".

October is the best month on Pasty Cam because of all the beautiful Autumn pictures Mary finds for us to enjoy day after day!
