This is the road you take to get to Gratiot Park in the Keweenaw. Judy Byykkonen made the drive there recently and was treated to a beautiful trail of color along the way. The park alone is a beautiful spot on the shores of Lake Superior, but this time of year, the drive in on the winding road makes the adventure that much sweeter.
I’m no expert on fall color, but from what I’ve been hearing, colors around the tip of the Keweenaw will most likely peak this week. So I’m looking forward to a few more weeks of color photos to share here on the Pasty Cam.
We join mi playground for an episode of “Go Here, Do This”, in which they’re talking about some of the best places to see fall colors in the U.P. of Michigan. Enjoy this guide to an amazing Upper Peninsula Fall Color Road Trip!

Beautiful! We were heading there on Saturday
with friends from MN, but the rain just
wouldn't stop. So we thought we'd try Sunday
but it was same stuff, different day. We've
been busy this week so I thunk we're headed
that way today. I really hope the colors are
as vibrant.
Thanks for sharing your adventure again, Judy.
