The CopperDog 150 looked a bit different this year, with Covid restrictions, the race organizers asked folks to stay home and watch it on the live videos they were providing on their Facebook page, along with the great action shots from brockit, inc. There was still plenty of excitement from the mushers, the dogs, the volunteers and everyone else that made the race happen, despite the change in how things normally happen for this dogsled race each year.
To see some of the videos and more of the photos, click here for the CopperDog 150 Facebook page. Race information and the final results of the races, can be found here: CopperDog 150.
Today’s video is from a previous year, when things were normal with spectators lining the course to watch the excitement in person at the Copper Harbor checkpoint.

Splendid set, but I feel the need to paws...and reflect. Mary mentioned "Mushers" and it reminded me of a nickname that my Dad had for my Mom; He use to call her "Mush". 3rd pic, Dog says: "Your neck is look'n like a Milkbone." 5th Pic: Dem doggies got Booty."
