So many things to see everyday, things that we sometimes just don’t take the time to notice. Beth Jukuri took the time to “notice” a few things before work and on her route this past week. She definitely has an “eye” for the interesting things happening around her. The first photo is looking out at Chassell Bay. I just love the street light there and the glow it puts on the snow, not to mention the early morning hue on the horizon. She then moves on to the main street in Chassell, which is US 41. I was struck by the pile of snow in front of her there. She said it’s the snow from someone’s driveway, but still, it seems like a good size pile for the amount of snow we’ve gotten so far this year.
Then Beth heads out on her route and I’m not sure if she snapped that third photo because of the road or the clouds or because that one break in the clouds, kind of looks like the U.P., with the Keweenaw, too. And lastly, the mailbox. I love the colors and I’m thinking that if I was the mail person, that would make me smile every time I opened the door to put their mail in. Thanks, Beth, for noticing and sharing the neat things you see each day.
Today’s video is a bit longer at right around 27 minutes. It’s a full episode of Under the Wire, from Detroit Public TV and is featuring Michigan’s Upper Peninsula’s frosty center for some wild winter fun. Enjoy!
