Brita Haapala, from Brita Caroline Photography, was hired to take sunset photos at this particular Lake Superior location. She said she accepted the job on one condition, that there was no deadline, as she wanted to snap the photos when the time was right. The right time came Sunday evening during the wind and snow storm we had here in the Keweenaw. She absolutely knew what she was doing, for sure, just look at these shots with the icy glow in the golden color of the setting sun. Outstanding!
