It doesn’t look like Stacey Flood’s “girls” are too thrilled with the snow yet. She said they were not impressed and I’m right there with them, not impressed at all. One of her friends asked if they really don’t like it or are they chicken to go out in it? Sounds like something “Alex” (UP Goldwinger) might say. I’m counting on him to top that one, though. (grins)

The first snows, especially when they’re early like this, take some getting used to for all of us, including the animals like Stacey’s beautiful “girls”, but by the time November rolls around and the snow starts sticking more, we’ll be used to it and ready to take on winter.

We have another video from Life In The UP today, featuring early October snow. Right around 1:32 in the video, she opens the door for her geese to come out of their coop and they don’t seem to mind the snow at all. Guess we should all be like a goose and just go with whatever we see when we open the door!
