A hiking we will go, a hiking we will go, hi-ho the dario, a hiking we will go. I wonder if Joy Ziemnick or any of her fellow hikers felt the urge to sing that old song as they hiked to the top of the Cliffs there in Phoenix? It sure looked like a beautiful day to do so and just look at the view once they arrived at the top…outstanding! We here in the Keweenaw are lucky to have such beauty and colors in the fall, it helps to transition into the white season that comes after.

We’re taking a trip around the U.P. to viewing the stunning colors, with Nicole – Hikesalot Adventures today. I never get tired of seeing all this beauty!

I'd say hang on firmly to that tree but it looks like it might not be anchored all that well so close to the edge.

It looks like someone has a strap around that
tree. Perhaps for Rappelling the Bluff.

That's quite a hike, sure wish I could do something like that again.

I've read that the gravel pits along the north shore in Minnesota are some of the best agate picking places, assuming you can get into them.

No DA...can barely walk anymore...and gotta have my
