Entertainment on Beth Jukuri’s rural mail route comes in all shapes, sizes and colors. She recently told me that she is lucky to see such fun and diverse things on her mail route and since she travels the same 75 miles each day, 6 days a week, she has to find something to entertain herself. She added, that if you are paying attention, you do. If you’ve seen some of the other photos Beth has shared previously, you know that she absolutely does pay attention and I’m glad she does.

Today we have critters and blooms from Beth. I think the most notable in her array of photos is the third one. While the horses and the Hereford Bovine are interesting and the flowers quite cheery and colorful, the donkey wearing leggings has to be the top for “not something you see every day while driving along country roads”. Well, that is unless you’re Beth, delivering mail on the same route day after day.

Our video today, is just as unique as the legging wearing donkey and comes to us from Bob Gilreath. He said his wife Liz had dumped some empty cans out to rinse and when the sprinkler came on later, they were wondering what that sound was. After investigating further, they discovered “sprinkler music”. Bob added: “We are easily amused these days.” Yes, yes we are, Bob!

Nice pics! I liked the video too, it reminded me
of the old Stroh's commercial where the guy was
playing the Stroh's theme song on 24 glasses of
beer and the guy sitting on the end drank the
last one, so the song finished on a Flat note!!
Well... I'm showing my age... but the commercial
was funny, anyone else recall that one? Or the
other one was, in the desert and one guy on a
camel says to the other, " Pick it up Alfie, we
don't want the blokes to know we've been here!"
Maybe it's a Detroit thing... Oh Covid &
surgery recovery time has definitely turned my
mind into oatmeal! :-))

BTW...the mane thing I like about the horses is their sexy bangs and I think the bovine is so fine. And I too, can remember the days when I could drink three cases of beer and still find my sprinkler, Bob.

The leggings are protection from flies and other
biting insects.

Yep...Zinnias. Mine took a beating with those big
winds we just had!
