This past Sunday, Todd Blom and his wife Taana, were watching this rainbow across the Portage Entry, from their Chassell home. Todd snapped these photos and Taana told me that they were actually wondering at the time, if it was raining over White City, as it looked like there was mist blowing from the left side of the rainbow. You can see that in Todd’s series of photos. Taana also mentioned that a second one was also trying to form over the lighthouse, but it just couldn’t do it. She said it was cool to watch!
The video for today is out there at the Keweenaw Waterway South Entry Light, videoed a few years back, by Tiger Holm. It was taken while riding in a boat, so it gets a bit bouncy in spots, but sure is neat to see a drive by video of the lighthouse.

Such cool pictures!! I always thought it'd be nice
to live in Chassell. But then we'd be that much
further from the Lake on the island that we all
love. Still these are such great pictures. I love
them.

Beautiful shots - have never seen a rainbow like that! Bet you're right - it was raining and that's why it looks misty.
