Brenda Leigh gives us a report on the recent snowfall they experienced over in Brimley on the eastern end of the U.P. She said they had two days of snow and it really accumulated, making their snowbanks even higher and getting folks in those parts wondering where they’re going to find a place to move that snow now. Brenda figured it was the worst storm they had this winter. By the looks of the pile of snow in front of their house, I’d venture to say she’s correct. Look at her poor penguin, he’s so covered with snow, you can’t even tell he’s under there. Brenda figures he’s loving it, though, because penguins love winter, just as much as she does. The third photo is Brenda’s favorite lime green shovel, which she claims is on strike and is declaring a “No Shoveling Zone”, since it’s coated with snow. I’m guessing that “strike” and “no shoveling” nonsense didn’t last long, and that pretty green shovel was back to work moving all that snow again.
Never fear, though. Living in the Sault Ste. Marie area isn’t all work with the winter snows, there’s plenty of fun things to do, too. Today’s video from I Love Sault Ste. Marie’s Facebook page, gives you a look at Tubing in the area. Judging from all the smiles, I’d say they’re having fun!

Beautiful! Hope all the UP businesses have done well with all the snow this year and with everyone traveling up from the snowless regions.
