It’s a snowman kind of day on the Pasty Cam! So many have popped up in the past week or so, I figured we better give them some page time, before they disappear. We start off in the Cedar Bay area, with a pair from Joy Ziemnick, who said she and her hubby, Jim had fun doing some “kid stuff” in the beautiful weather we had last weekend. They built a snowman who was taking his snowdog for a walk on that sunny day!
The next snowman, looks more like a snowwoman, since she seems to have a crown on. Perhaps the queen of Superior. She joined Melanie Hakala Rossi and gang on a snowshoe hike to Lake Superior’s shores.
Then Mandy Cadwell and friends made a trek out to White City/Jacobsville on snowshoes and they found this scraggly-haired snowman out there enjoying the sunshine and blue skies. You just never know who you’ll run into when out on Keweenaw adventures.
And finally, we have a snowman that Brenda Leigh jokingly built when it was seeming like winter was never going to end. Now is when winter starts to wear on many folks who are just tired of shoveling, plowing or moving snow in anticipation of the next big snow. This snowman reflects how many people feel about winter at this point along the months. STOP the snow making machine already!
Let’s join a family that came to Calumet for a Family Winter Vacation. They had fun making a snowman, an igloo and a giant bear!
