Wherever Sharon Bodenus of Upper Peninsula Photography goes, she usually has two things along with her. One is her camera and the other is one of her furry family members, in this case today, Aleana. Sharon starts out with a sunrise photo at Larson Pond, near her home, with the second shot Larson Lake, also near her home. I’m guessing the pond and the lake are connected. I love the way the sun is lighting up the snow on the trees in the second shot. In her third photo, Aleana is down the road a bit, waiting patiently for Sharon to catch up to her. They were hoping for a plow to come yet that day.
Sharon’s video, which she titled “A Beautiful day in the Neighborhood”, was recorded in Nordeen Park in Gwinn. I was pleasantly surprised to see there’s a covered bridge there, that goes over the Escanaba River. There’s something so inviting about a covered bridge. Sharon said folks like to come there to launch their kayaks in the summer and spend the day on the river. That is going on my bucket list, a trip to Gwinn to see the Covered Bridge and kayak the Escanaba River there.

Places I would never be able to make it to, Thank You. I also love that Sharon did not put loud music to the video. It was nice just the way it was....natural. Can hear the water running. LOVE IT.

I came back to watch the video again. I also love the PSA (about driving safe) Sharon did at the end. Look forward to seeing some pictures of that tree, too...:O)
