Jeff Dennis has a game camera set up at their camp in Little Traverse, that not only captures what the Big Lake is doing out there, but also takes shots of the four-legged visitors that happen by. Today’s trio of photos were taken in December, on the 17th, the 22nd and the 27th. It’s fun to see how the deer interact, captured on the sly with the game camera. You can see some of the difference in the weather from date to date, with the beautiful sunshine and warm temperatures we were experiencing that week of the 27th. Things have changed since then, with rain turning everything to slush and mush and now snow again in the forecast and falling. The reprieve was nice while it lasted, but back to winter now.
Finally we head to Iron Mountain with Jason Asselin, at the City Park there: ducks feeding, some big deer lounging and even an albino whitetail deer.

What great game cam pics! Ours are never that picturesque - the positioning of the camera sure makes a difference.

I once saw that albino deer playing drums with the Edgar Winter band back in the 70s, man.
