The ground here in the Keweenaw is white, giving us a taste of winter for the beginning of November. Who knows if it is here for good, I for one am hoping for a melt with the 40° temperatures that have been predicted for mid week. Of course then it gets cold again and the snows will return. Anyway, Kevin Henriksen was here in the Keweenaw and captured a few snow shots so you get a taste of winter, too. These were snapped near the snow thermometer on US41 north of Mohawk. I think his last photo is a good example of the weather this year, showing that it can’t make up its mind if it should be winter or fall.
Today’s video was made when it looked like the weather was having a hard time deciding. In The Keweenaw brings us 'The Fall is Snowing'.

I like when Autumn and Winter overlap with Autumn leaves still on the trees and snow on the ground.
