This is the time of year for the most colorful road trips to be had here in the Copper Country. Linda Poisson took one of those drives last week and found herself on the Traprock Valley Road outside of Lake Linden. You can see by the puddles that it was a rainy day, but despite the wet and no sun shining from the skies, the color was still breathtaking. All the different hues both in the trees and the grasses and ferns on the ground are shouting fall!
Today’s video tour is a short drive to Copper Harbor. The sun was shining that day, making the colors just about glow.

Breathtaking. Imagine if the sun were out.

My brother lived in the Valley for some 30 years, and we loved going to his home. Just one more place of beauty in the Keweenaw.
