Whether it’s a morning sunrise, lighting up the fall colors in the trees or the sun going down for the night, reflecting in the waters of Bootjack, it’s a place that always seems to be glowing. Kierstin Waara captured both the morning and the nighttime perfectly, showcasing what those that live on the Portage in Bootjack love about their waterfront homes. No matter the time of day, there’s always beauty reflected there. This time of year, that beauty gets more colorful, too, so it’s a definite bonus when the sun illuminates that even more.
Get set for a color air tour on today’s video. It was filmed on the eastern end of the U.P., near Goetzville, when colors were peaking.

WOW! What extraordinary photos. I love them.
The video was beautiful. It looks as if the
eastern half of the UP is more colorful than the
western half. Gorgeous!
