Wow! That’s what I said when I saw today’s photos from George C. Bailey. With his posting of the photos, he added these words and I think they describe the photos perfectly: “There is an Aura of Ominus in the sky today”. To add to that foreboding feeling, there is a low lying fog hanging over the water and creeping onto the land. So many colors and hues and it all combines to mesmerize you with the beauty of Lake Superior, no matter what the weather is doing.
Our video today is a quick one, it’s only 12 seconds long, published earlier this month by Frederick Pierce III. An interesting time-lapse of a Lake Superior fog bank rolling in.

Missed these spectacular shots last night ~ they look like paintings. What great color saturation! And the video does have a foreboding feel, doesn't it?
