In our video report today, about 20 miles southwest of Munising there are some pretty amazing ice formations every year, known as the Eben Ice Caves. Explore it with us (minus the ice cleats), courtesy of MLive.
Recently Brenda Leigh further did a little exploring east of here, on the Lake Superior shoreline in the Brimley area. Check out the brilliant blue that icy cave formation took on, making it stand out quite well from the rest of the piled ice on Superior there. Pretty amazing what natural art Mother Nature creates for us all to enjoy here in the U.P.

Never been to either, but I have seen very blue ice on a glacier in Norway and also in Antarctica. If you've never seen ice like this, it is definitely a sight to behold.
