Railroads of the Upper Peninsula in
photos
Although the Copper Range is my first love I also enjoy collecting
photos of other U.P. railroads and researching when and where they ran. I will add some
history when I get some extra time but for now please enjoy these vintage black &
white shots of railroads of the Upper Peninsula. These photos were taken by Bob Anderson,
except where noted.

Isle Royale Mine Railroad
Mark Worrell passed along this nice image of the Isle Royale taken in 1909
showing their saddle tanker. Looks like a special excursion on this Copper Country
shortline which served the Isle Royale mine which was located just south of Houghton.
