NOTE: Each parade entry must have a theme that reflects the Heikinpäivä celebrations of Finnish culture and/or midwinter fun. (Example: a float that has a commercial theme supporting a local business would not qualify. However a float supporting a local sauna stove business would.) We especially encourage musical groups and noise generating entries to participate. Three prizes of $50 each will be rewarded to the top three participants, which will be determined by a panel of parade judges.
