To get there you must cross the Houghton Bridge and proceed north on US41 through the village of Calumet and Mohawk. When you get to the ghost town of Delaware slow down and look for the green sign that says Lac La Belle on it. Turn right on Lac La Belle road and after 5 miles you will be going down hill to the lake. Turn left at he bottom of the hill, turn right just before the 100 or so mailboxes, turn right at the T in the road and you will see the Lac La Belle resort ahead of you. Fish Camp Charters is the third place to the left of the resort. You can walk from the resort to the Fish Camp. Copper Harbor is 10 miles past Delaware at the end of US 41. There are numerous motels and cabins at Copper Harbor. Calumet is a 30 minute drive from Lac La Belle. It is located on US 41, 10 miles past Houghton. SOME PLACES IN THE AREA Lac La Belle Lodge Lac La Belle lodge is walking distance from the dock. It has a small store and sells fishing licenses. It is open all year. They may only have weekly rates in the summer. Motels Wilderness Resort- Lac La Belle Web Site:
