Ghost Towns of the Keweenaw Peninsula

In the late 1800's and early 1900's the Keweenaw Peninsula was alive with the sounds of the copper mines. Copper Harbor Lighthouse Boat Tours
There is a boat tour that takes visitors out to the lighthouse for an interpretive tour of the light, out-buildings and grounds.

Manitou Island Lighthouse
Manitou Island Lighthouse is located off the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula and is only accessible by boat.
Eagle River Lighthouse
The Eagle River Lighthouse situated on the west band of the Eagle River was completed in 1857 and decomissioned in 1908.

Calumet Theatre:
Calumet Theatre and Village Hall. One of the Kewenaw's glories, the elaborate 1899 opera house looks much as it did when touring stars played here in miningdays. Authentically restored paintings and ornament. A memorable venue for concerts, films, plays.
