When Emma Stout began sending photos to share with us here on the Pasty Cam, I knew right away that she had a special talent for photography, but looking at today's photos, she has some hidden talents, too. Look closely and you'll see that her feet can spell and what a dandy job they did in the snow that's covering the ice in front of their home. Emma said that it was her Dad's idea to write Pasty.com, but she really had fun doing it and she certainly picked the perfect day for this assignment, with the clouds just enough to filter the sun for optimum viewing of her penmanship.

Great job, Emma, you get an A+ for spelling AND creativity today!

Great photos Emma and lots of hard work out in those frigid temps. WHAT A GRAND IDEA!! The sky in both photos looks as if lake effect might cover all your hard work.

What lake is that? It almost looks like the south end of Gratiot Lake, but no houses around there.

RD,Iowa, that's Portage Lake. If you go back to the skating photos that Emma's Mom sent in back on January 12, 2013, you can see Michigan Tech in the background from the different angle.
