December comes to an end, as does the year 2024.. We pause our usual Pasty Cam with a sunrise to remember those who have passed on before us:

If you’ve been a longtime visitor here at Pasty Central, you may remember the first lady on our list today, Susan Caryl (Gilbsulmom). She was a regular visitor and posted often in the earlier days of the webpage. All of us wish to extend our deepest sympathy to all who have lost a loved one or friend. We invite you to add the names of those you’d like to remember on this page.

Special thanks to Rachel Griffin for the beautiful morning sky on a recent walk she took. It’s the perfect way to reflect on those we’ve lost too soon.

My condolences to all who have
lost loved ones this month. It's
never easy, but it just seems
harder over the holidays.
Remembering my dad, my brother and
my mother in law who all passed in
the month of December. They are
missed and may they RIP.

Remembering Karen, my best friend and NMU roommate, who died the day after Christmas after a long battle with early onset Alzheimers. She is free from that terrible disease and celebrating New Year's in Heaven with her family and Buck.

God bless and comfort all who are mourning the loss of friends and family on this last day of 2024. It has been a terrible year for me and many others. May 2025 bring healing and joy.

A beautiful picture!
Remembering my Dad who was called
home; December 25, 2003 on Christmas
morning. A spiritual Christian who passed
with no fears and no regrets. He lived his
life the best that he could with the knowledge
that he had. I pray that we all have that same
courage when our time approaches. Amen.

certainly never be another gentle, beautiful soul
like that ever again. They don't make 'em like that

My long time Boss, John Weber, passed during this holiday time 3 years ago. I stayed at the same company for 43 years but moved around a bit. He was my Boss for almost all of them.

I miss him and my own father almost every time I need some advice. My father passed very young at 52 when I was only 22. Even though John was only 8 years my senior, he became a father figure to me and was always there to help.

God Bless everyone and here's hoping for a safe, healthy and happy New Year.
