Now that school is out, that means summer has begun. Stacey Flood set off on a “much needed” adventure exploring the shores of Lake Superior in the Eagle Harbor area. The beauty she found is like none other with the rocky shoreline and then the rocks that are just off the shore, in the water. The arch they found is pretty amazing. You can actually kayak under that arch and Stacey did so, back on Aug. 1, 2022. Fun to see it from the shoreline in today’s photo.

We join 1StrangeAdventure for a video look at Things to do in the Upper Peninsula. They start out Camping at the Baraga State Park, explore the Canyon Falls, near L’Anse and head to Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor with stops along the way. They end their U.P. adventure at the Top of the Lake Snowmobile Museum in Naubinway. It’s fun to see folks first impressions of attractions around the western U.P.

It’s strange going from winter
to summer in such a short period
of time, but I love it. It’s like a
camper’s dream come true.
And a biker’s dream come true too.
I wish I could enjoy it so to everyone
else I will say “Enjoy every moment
of it.” ,else I will smite thee.

Honestly, I'm glad we downsized, anything over 35'
and it's difficult to sometimes to get a site that
can accommodate you. Really looking forward to
getting to the Yoop. So far it's all systems go,
with one "Surface Echocardiogram" to pass next week.
