Earlier last week, Debbie Jarve made a road trip around the Keweenaw, checking out the Eagle River Beach where the river flows into Lake Superior. At that point it was covered with an icy coating. Debbie then turned her icy explorations to the falls UP North with a stop at Jacob’s Falls, Eagle River Falls and Ten Foot Falls. Somewhere along the way, she also snapped a photo of an icy curtain, looking like a wall of ice. Pretty and chilling at the same time.

Debbie also recorded several videos that day and I had a hard time deciding which falls video to feature, but finally decided on Jacob’s Falls. The sound of the running water in this one made me feel like I was standing there in person, especially when she zoomed in close for a look.

Seems weird to have snow on the ground, lol. Might
have to shovel a little today, though it's
supposed to warm up again this week. Strange
weather.

was always a stop whilst M26 cruising on the Wing.
Then it was a hop over to the Jampot for
some tasty treats. My mother, God rest her soul,
used to love the jams and baked goods that I
would bring back for her.
