December brings with it cold mornings and icicles on the shores of Lake Superior in Marquette. Thanks to 906 Images being an early riser to catch these beautiful morning scenes of Gold Ice and shining splashes against the rocks, we get to enjoy them, too. I can only imagine the chill that was in the air as the wind was propelling the waves creating those sparkly splashes. Quite amazing how the ice captures and holds the light, making it a golden morning.

906 Images last photo was snapped on a different morning and he said that it’s not often the Big Lake is kicking up when there is so much color for a sunrise, so he felt this shot was the “Best of Both Worlds”. His words of wisdom for today are that “Everyday is different...Enjoy them all!” Great advice!

This is the 1st cave I've ever seen.
Most likely in a traprock structure.
