One morning last week it was only 32° where Taana Blom lives near the Lower Portage Lake Entry, which produced a fog just hovering over the water. With that and the clouds in the sky, it sure made for an eerie looking scene, kind of perfect for Halloween coming soon. Yet beautiful, too, with the sky brightening as the sun comes UP for the day. Very fall-ish looking and we all know what comes after this, right? I’m hoping for more fall before we transition to the next season.

So since we had a glimpse of the sun coming UP, we might as well get a look at the sun going down. Jeff Dennis was at McLain State Park recently and recorded the sunset and waves. It’s another video that you need to make sure your volume is turned up to hear the Superior waves singing as they come ashore.

Nice eerie fog pics, and that video is SO relaxing to watch. I could listen to those waves coming in for hours.
