Fritz enjoys taking Jeff & Chris Dennis on adventures, as you have seen in past shares of photos from the Dennis family. I really think Fritz is the guide and driving force behind all their adventures. This adventure was up on the Copper Harbor tip of the Keweenaw, with a kayak trip around the Copper Harbor Lighthouse. Bonus was a photo snapped by Chris with Fritz, Jeff and a good size freighter out further on Lake Superior.

Jeff also snapped a few shots on land of the lighthouse and one of the propeller from the Steamer Scotia, which hit a reef off the Keweenaw Point and broke in two in 1884. All aboard were saved, but suffered hardship for over two days without shelter. Interesting history of the waters around the Harbor.

A man and his dog…Good stuff!

I went out there, but not in a kayak. We
took the tour boat. I loved it. Imagine
seeing a freighter while out there in a
kayak. Very exciting for him. Love that he
took his dog.

Boy, Mary...I believe you are correct~ Fritz is
running the show, and he loves looking at the
coolest stuff!! He takes us all on the best
Adventures! I love this!

We took the tour too Deb! Interesting about the old keepers house, etc. Didn't see that little path down to the water in front of the lighthouse on the tour.

Always good to see Jeff & Fritz with their vests on - have they found the man whose kayak flipped down by the Firesteel River on Superior?
