Kathy Erkkila Ptaszek said she had a peaceful walk with a friend at the Nara Nature Trail over the weekend and even had a beaver and an eagle sighting. Sorry, no pictures of the wildlife to share, but the scenery she photographed more than makes up for that. And the bonus is that there are reflections in the calm water around the trail, so you’re sort of getting seven scenes for the price of four photos. How’s that for logic? Seriously, though, the scenery there is just perfect for fall and I’m guessing they didn’t have to contend with any bugs this time of year...another bonus!

I’m not sure how Steve Brimm managed to reverse the water/leaf flow mid video, but he did. It’s flowing away from you and then all of a sudden reverses and the leaves are flowing back toward you. Fascinating and just what the doctor ordered to end a hectic week.
