Chris Gariepy, his son and a friend went on what Chris labeled as “a little Jet Ski trip” recently. In reality it was roughly 25 miles each way, so I wouldn’t exactly say it was a “little” trip. They left from Lac La Belle and went out to Manitou Island at the tip of the Keweenaw and about five miles off the Keweenaw Peninsula. The trio made several stops along the way at a few well know spots, including Keystone Bay, The Lighthouse at Manitou Island, Montreal Falls and Bare Bluff, just to name a few. It looks like they picked the perfect day for the ride, with Lake Superior calm and cooperative.

Chris’ son Kaden made a video of the adventure which he titled “Best Ride Yet”. That pretty much says it all!
