Jeff Dennis, his wife Chris and their four-legged, furry kid, Fritz, headed out in their canoe for a paddle along the Lake Superior shoreline out at Little Traverse. Everyone had their life jackets on, including Fritz, which is especially important in the cold Superior waters. The sandstone walls are surely something to see and they also viewed a small waterfall, cascading over the wall and into Superior. You can see how clear the water is along the water’s edge with a glimpse of some of the big rocks submerged there in the fourth photo. Looks like it was the perfect evening for a little adventure, although with Jeff having his hood on in the last photo, I’m wondering if that was because it was chilly, buggy or maybe both?
We get a nice “live” view of the waterfall and the expanse of the sandstone cliffs in Jeff’s video. If your volume is turned up, you’ll hear the waterfall and Fritz in the boat, too. Good thing he’s a little guy or he might capsize the canoe!

Hi There was an article in my local paper about a man who started a business called Keweenaw Boat Tours. He takes people out into the Keweenaw waterway in his pontoon boat. It sounds like a nice way to see the sights.

These pictures were great and I loved the video. And yes, Donna, to be a Fritz in their adventures.
Thanks for sharing.

The look on Fritz's face in the first picture is priceless! Glad he - and everyone else - is wearing a life vest!
