It’s no surprise that the beauty here in the Keweenaw changes with each season. There always seems to be something beautiful to capture with photographs and Debbie Jarve over at Debbie Jarve Photography does a great job snapping up the beauty with her camera lens.

She starts us off with a frosty view in Houghton, looking toward St. Ignatius Church. You can see the frost hanging in the air over the Canal on the right side of the photo.

Then Debbie takes us north to Laurium, for a nighttime look at a tree decorated with lights and a snowy garland. Nature stepped in there to take that tree from pretty, to outstanding with the lights reflecting off the white snow. Next stop is in Calumet, where Debbie snapped a snowy scene near Swedetown. Frost was in the air this morning, too.

We go back to Houghton with Debbie for the last photo today. Snapped from Michigan Tech, the sunrise was something else. Red sky in the morning, sailor’s take warning is the old saying. Maybe this was the harbinger for the wind advisory we were under for Thursday. Warning or not, it was something to see!

Our video from MI Playground gives us 15 things to do in the Upper Peninsula during winter. So now you can’t say there’s nothing to do in the winter months.

Wow! Mary nailed the tree picture. It
really does look like it's got garland on
it. Great pictures!

Outstanding photos, #4 is my fav but they're all
really beautiful!! Very informative video, great
suggestions, most I've been there, done that, but
now I've found myself saying to a few of them...
Yeah right!!

Especially still dealing with my hemolysis and
the fatigue and shortness of breath. Meeting again
with a new team at U of M on the 28th of this
month to work on that. I've been reassured that my
heart is fine, they think possibly the new valves
are causing the hemolysis. I'm hoping we can find
a noninvasive solution soon because it's really
set back to living a normal life! The hand is
healing well and I'm going to OT 2 times/week.
Other than that... we play the cards we're dealt!

Have a great weekend Friends!!
