Brenda Leigh plants a dandy garden along the rode in Brimley by her home. She’s been doing so for a number of years, honoring her Mom, a wonderful neighbor and all Mom’s who have passed. It’s such a beautiful way to remember her loved ones and friends, along with adding beauty for all those who pass by on their way to wherever. A number of her friends posted messages that they enjoy diving or walking by and seeing all the love she puts into her Memorial garden. Brenda certainly has a green thumb, along with a decorator’s flair with the variety of plants and colors.

There are some pretty flowers in the gardens around the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, which we get a few glimpses of on this carriage ride from Jack’s Livery and Stable as they’re passing by the Hotel.

Nice colors on those pics!! We took the same
carriage ride, in early July. Our niece, Erika is a
taxi driver on the island. I believe the taxi's are
pulled by two horses, I don't recall their names.

What you do with Chive flowers....they taste like
onions. pick them and put them on top of deviled
eggs...Awesome, awesome, awesome!

My memory isn't what it used to be... go figure!! I
had to text my niece, the horse's names are Walter
& Ilene... and they know their way around the
island really well. I couldn't help but notice how
well manicured the whole island is, even private
residencies. My niece used to live in Florida, now
on the island, she even worked out there all last
winter! Now that's SISU!! :=))
