We’re hopping aboard for a quick flight with E. Neil Harri to check out the Lake Linden area, Torch Lake and then Ponchos Blueberry Farm and Rice Lake. It never cease to amaze me how different places look when viewing them from the air, even places I grew up in and never left. That’s quite the aerial view of Lake Linden, Torch Lake and the “cuts” heading into Bootjack and Portage Lake. If Neil had spanned a bit more to the left, you’d have been able to see our farm, too!

The second shot shows Poncho’s Blueberry Farm, which looks so much bigger when you can see it all in one shot like this. I’m used to seeing it as I ride my bike past, wishing I had room to carry some blueberries home with me. Same for Rice Lake, off to the right. It just doesn’t look that big when you’re looking at it from ground level. Gives you a whole new appreciation of the locations.

Our video excursion is taking you to new heights, also. We join TV6’s Tia Trudgeon at Copper Peak Ski Jump in Ironwood, where she took a chair lift, a 16-story elevator and then finally walked 8 stories to the top of the jump. Quite the view from UP there. Tia said Adventure rides operate from Memorial Day to mid-October and asked, “Would you go to the top?"
