Josh Rheault really enjoys exploring all around the Keweenaw. On one of his latest excursions, he took in this outstanding view from the Bears Den Scenic Outlook, which is just up the road from the Sturgeon River Campground where he spotted this Moose on the loose! It never ceases to amaze me how long the legs on a moose are, like they are all legs. Josh’s second moose photo was a good capture at just the right time to catch the moose “spying” him from the corner of his eye, making sure he was just taking a picture and not up to anything else. Great shots!
To go along with the moose theme, we have a video from TV6 – Fox UP which highlighted the 30th anniversary of the 1985 Moose Lift project. It was nice to see and hear Buck LeVasseur again, back in his Discovering days. RIP Buck...
