We’re heading out on another “Dennis Family Adventure” today, this time along the Lake Superior shoreline in the Keweenaw Peninsula, out at Little Traverse. Jeff Dennis and family spent an afternoon recently, in their old motor-boat, exploring from their camp on Little Traverse Bay in Lake Superior, to the cliffs, south of the bay, towards Rabbit Bay. Beautiful sandstone out that way, kind of a hidden gem, unless you hop in a boat like the Dennis crew.
The last photo was taken back on shore, with a haze that rolled in off Lake Superior. Good thing the boating adventure took place before that happened.
Jeff also made a neat video of the excursion, combining historical boating footage along with their boat ride footage, too. He says, they’re still learning about editing in films like this. I think they did a great job!

Wow! In the video the outboard motor is as old as the steamships! And still running fine!

Nicely done! I especially liked the Gordon Lightfoot music chords to the song "Beautiful".
